Crossroad of Sensations - Discover the Bayfront Grille at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel Step into the fascinating world of the Bayfront Grille located in the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel - the first waterfront hotel in the heart of Erie's Bayfront Marina District. Without hesitation the view is the restaurant's most notable attraction, with the Bay, Presque Isle and the Bicentennial Tower in your front yard. However, this destination's real surprise is in its inspiring flavors.
Executive Chef Ronny Houston joined the hotel's culinary team in February 2009 from the Renaissance Plantation Hotel in Florida where he developed his unique and contemporary style. His background consists of a strict culinary education at the Le Cordon Bleu Miami of Culinary Arts and was influenced by the eclectic Latin and Caribbean culture of South Florida. Chef Ronny's new menus reflect the combination of Caribbean and Asian flair with contemporary American Bistro. The flavors of cilantro, thyme, garlic, saffron, ginger, and homemade jerk give a new meaning to enjoying seafood in the area.
Signature items like the Sweet Chili Glazed Pulled Duck Spring Roll or Roasted Corn Crab Griddle Cakes are true inspirations to sensation. The Gorgonzola-Pistachio Crusted Manhattan Loin, the Pan-Roasted Sea Bass are the reason why your dining experience is to be remembered. The 5 Spiced Walleye will introduce a new favorite to all local seafood lovers.
The Bayfront Grille is the ideal place to celebrate special events like birthdays, graduations and anniversaries. Chef Ronny developed special menus like "The Pier", "The Harbor", "Presque Isle", and "Flagship Niagara", exclusively for these memorable occasions.
The Bayfront Lounge offers 15 wines by the glass, draft and bottled beers as well as freshly made cocktails. Happy hour specials run every day from 4pm to 6pm offering all domestic beers at $2, all import beers at $3 and all appetizers at half price. Daily cocktail specials consist of Margaritas, Mojitos and Cosmos. The experience wouldn't be complete without the energy of true live music performed by local favorites like Sam Hyman or the up-and-coming Cleveland singer Chris Castle.
Hours of operation: breakfast - 6:30am to 11am, lunch - 11am to 2pm, dinner - 5pm to 10pm. A selection of sandwiches and snacks are offered throughout the day from the lounge menu. Patio seating available, weather permitting. Reservations recommended. |

surprised to learn; there's a brand new beach on Presque Isle. Everyone knows about Beach 1 through Beach 11, but have you ever heard of Beach Zero?

It's located just before Beach 1 and unlike the other beaches, you can
have a great time there, rain or shine. Are you curious? Do you want to learn more? If so, the next time
you're driving down Peninsula Drive, after you pass under the roller coaster, take a look to your right; that's where you'll find Beach Zero. Beach Zero should always be your first and last stop when visiting Presque Isle. At Beach Zero we have beach toys, suntan lotion, boogie boards and everything else you need for a fun day at the beach. We also have camping supplies, Presque Isle souvenirs, T-shirts, incense, mood rings, beach glass jewelry, hot chocolate, cappuccino, soda, snacks, candles and even bundled firewood. So the next time your heading to Presque Isle, or if you're just outfor a drive, please stop in and see us. Maybe you'll find a unique gift for that special someone, or maybe something just for you!!
While you're there, don't forget to say hello to Caesar, our four-legged store manager. He's a great guy and once you meet him, you'll understand why he's been "employee of the month" every month since we've opened.

Stop in the warm and inviting dining room and enjoy the delicious red sauce(tomato), white sauce(garlic and oil), or One of a Kind " Pink Sauce" a delicious blend of tomato and garlic sauces. A very unique taste for sure. You can enjoy your meal with a glass of wine or beer and Free Wi-Fi! Yes, brand new addition to the Papa Joes experience (and it IS an experience)Beer is now available for in house or take out! The entire menu may be taken out as well.
Stop in and enjoy a full..I mean full menu of traditional and unique items. Calzones and Strombolis are to die for..made fresh of course, as well as Erie's Original Chicken Ranch Pizza made famous at their first Pizza Shop, Pizza Etc. For the more eclectic palate try the Chicken Gorgonzola Pizza or the Schwegman's Mostly Meat Pizza...this frequent customer liked so many toppings that it was easier just to say.."I need one large Schwegman's" then to recite the laundry list of ingredients...or ask for the "Chuck Norris" Sub.
Starting your day at Papa Joes? You have to try the one of a kind "Walkin' Jim Bagel" named after..well..Walkin' Jim of course!! Jim would walk on by almost daily at the previous downtown location and order..are you ready for it...? Half cream cheese, tomato, and artichoke, half hummus, cucumber and sprouts topped with olive oil, salt and pepper. Served open face.
Homemade hummus, Sweet Potato fries with honey, Blue Bacon Salad, Enchanted Eggplant, The Sausage Sammich, and the Jandarin Salad with the Italiorange dressing are among the many must haves at Papa Joes. Having a morning business meeting? Be the hero and bring one of Papa Joes amazing Frittatas (Breakfast Pizzas). The day would not be complete without a slice of Jan's homemade Peanut Butter pie..Papa Joes latest, greatest seller. Stop in today and I will challenge you not to want to come back tomorrow!!

200 different beers!!!! International, Domestic, Micro and craft brews...they have it all! Big screen TV, Paninis, subs, delicious wings (you have to try the Jamaican Jerk flavor), great pizzas, giant salads, and 8 different beers on tap at all times...have I died and gone to heaven....somebody pinch me!
Who knew that at the Six Pack House of Beer at 847 Pittsburgh Avenue one could find all this to enjoy in house. On the go? Grab a growler of draught and lunch or dinner to go. You can get one or two individual beers or a six pack or more. You may also find the Six Pack House of Beer on 4516 Peach Street, but with a scaled down menu.
I have stopped into The Six Pack House of Beer on multiple occasions. I like to stop there on the way to the boat and grab a few individual bottles of different beers to add to the usual Miller Lite staple of most of my friends. I have also picked up a large bottle of the " Arrogant Bastard" beer when going to various male birthday celebrations where bringing a gift was not expected, but appreciated. I did a nice pairing of a bag of those old fashioned orange carnival peanuts with the "Arrogant Bastard" beer...made for a good laugh and a fun gift, but not a big dent to the wallet. The Dirty Blonde or the soon to arrive Crème Brulee on tap works well for the females you want to gift to.
One night for a fun evening my honey and I stopped in at the Pittsburgh Avenue location and took turns picking out bottles and or different draught beers and splitting them so we could try several and still be responsible drivers. We sat for a couple of hours, enjoyed sharing 4 or 5 fun beers and a nice meal while watching a game on the big screen TV. There were quite a few people there enjoying the various on tap choices and some wings as well. Everyone seemed very happy with the beer, the food and the service. All the folks at "The Pack" as I like to call it,make you feel like you are part of the pack when you are there. Owner Nick Durante has been in the biz for 14 years and knows his grog. Look for seasonal changes in the draughts as the year moves on. Nick told me to be sure to stop in for some " Southern Tier Pumpking Beer" coming in any day. This Jamestown NY beer has been flying off the shelves and out of the tap for several years now. Nick told me he has more than tripled his order and the calls are already coming in!! But, if your name is not Linus and waiting for the Great Pumpking beer is not for you, don't worry, there is a flavor of beer to go with your Peanuts at either of The Six Pack House of Beer locations.

Tough day at the office? Out back to school shopping all day? Make your last stop Super Suppers and make life easy...and delicious.
As seen on The Rachel Ray Show, The Today Show and Oprah.. Super Suppers has been thriving right here in Erie, PA for three years now! I wasn't sure what Super Suppers was exactly, I just knew "Super" and "Suppers" sounded good to me. So, I stopped in to be greeted by the very warm and friendly Sandra Luthringer, Super Suppers owner and Registered Dietitian. I thought I had to make my own meals at the meal assembly stations, which sounded like fun, but due to time constraints I was pleased to find out I could also just " Take it and bake it" from the grab and go coolers, well stocked with over 30 entrée choices. The only problem I had was I wanted to taste them all (a task I am working on week by week now). Some of my favorites include the Dr. Pepper Flank Steak, Chicken Parmesan with Creamy Sage Sauce, Pork Tenderloin with Mustard Sauce, Buffalo Chicken Braided Bread. Greek Shrimp Pasta and Grilled Blackened Salmon with Citrus Chive Sauce.
For a breakfast buffet, or a lazy morning you have to try the Blueberry Cream Cheese French Toast Bake, a must have! The regular sized entrees serve 2-3 people. Entrees are also available in "Family Size" to feed 4-6 people as well as single size for just one. I have also enjoyed many of the appetizers, dips, side dishes and desserts that Super Suppers has to choose from. They have it all! All of Super Suppers recipes can be modified for special diets (diabetic, low sodium, low fat, as well as any other special needs). The last time I was in the store a gentleman was making arrangements for his diabetic father-in-laws meals for the week and had just stopped in to look at the new month's menu. Every month provides new menu items from down-home comfort foods, to the full gourmet experience.
Super Suppers has meals to satisfy all palates and all family sizes. Singles to larger parties, Super Suppers makes life easy and satisfies the need for meals "just like mom would make" The delicious home-cooked meals are kid-friendly, family favorites. At an average of $3.50 per serving, Super Suppers entrees are the easy choice for convenient, good food at a great value.
Get your family out of the fast food lane and back to the dinner table with the help of Super Suppers. They are your answer to "What's for dinner?" No stress, no mess, just a Super Supper!
